RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with 1 late evening shift per week
• Provide nursing care for all pre and post operative diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Support peripheral vascular and electrophysiology procedures utilizing the nursing process
• Responsible for patient assessment, patient monitoring, and documentation
• Provide patient and family education to assist with adjustments to cardiac disease
• Work in Cath Lab - EP and Non-invasive unit providing Phase II Care
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or Associate's degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years
• Graduate of CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program required
• Current Ohio registered nursing license required
• Minimum 2 years RN nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently within established procedures
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
• Near visual acuity required for accurate reading of gauges, thermometers and monitors
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and decision making
• Must work effectively within team environment and maintain collegial relationships
