RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed medical/surgical unit providing 24-hour nursing care
• Float required to other units as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 nurses to patients
• Care for patients from adolescents (17 years and older) to geriatric populations
• Work in a fast-paced environment with potential for different patient assignments throughout shift
• Provide care for patients with general and surgical needs including general surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, women's health, gynecology, ENT, trauma, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and spinal/neuro overflow
• Care for women experiencing obstetrical issues including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, hyperemesis, substance abuse withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies
• Must have 2+ years of recent medical/surgical experience
• Epic experience within the last year required
• BLS certification required
• Must have accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• Solid black scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off accepted
• No RTO allowed during first two weeks of assignment
• Block schedules not accommodated
