Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract position with immediate start date available
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Float between 6th/7th floor (Med Surg/Oncology) and throughout facility as needed
• Float to all facilities within a 60-mile radius when required
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with support staff, decreased to 1:3-4 with primary care/chemo administration
• Care for medical and oncology patients on 6th floor (15 beds) and 7th floor (21 beds)
• Must wear black scrubs
• 8 hours of unbillable orientation required
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience required
• Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience and ability to interpret basic telemetry rhythms required
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years required
• At least one completed travel contract required - no new travelers
• Previous travel experience required - travelers cannot be from within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and AHA BLS
• Preferred certifications: AHA ACLS and ONC
• Associate degree or certificate required
