Opportunity:

RN - Neurology

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation based on unit needs
• 13-week contract length
• Any missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• Float requirements throughout facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call back requirements
• 16-bed neurology unit with 1:4 patient ratios
• Primary cases include stroke patients and post-operative spinal/brain surgeries
• Care for post-trauma patients, TBI patients, and medical patients
• Work with 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required
• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred
• Experience in stroke care and post-operative back/spine/cervical procedures desired
• Black scrubs required
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing required
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be located more than 50 miles from ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI
