Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work as Resource Nurse floating between Medical/Surgical/Rehab on 5th Floor
• 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM
• Every weekend schedule required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius
• Holiday rotation as needed depending on unit needs
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with RN paired with support staff (LPN/CNA) based on acuity
• Primary cases include Med/Surg, COVID patients, pre-post cardiac catheterization, and post pacemaker care
• Rare pediatric patients
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS
• EPIC charting experience within the last year required
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required
• Previous travel experience required
• Black scrubs required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must be hardworking, resilient, manage change well, and have strong social skills
• Clinical interview services required
• Cannot accept travelers from facilities or home locations within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center
