RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts (open to straight night shift candidates)
• Day shift: 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM / Night shift: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (not guaranteed during orientation week)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation required depending on unit needs
• 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required
• ICU/IMC experience strongly preferred, looking for IMU/NEURO/ICU background
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI
• Float requirements throughout facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Black scrubs required
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• 8-hour unbillable orientation
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Care for stroke patients, post-op spinal/brain/cervical surgery patients, trauma patients, and TBI patients
• Work on 16-bed neurology unit with 1:4 patient ratios
• Typically 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift
