Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM
• Medical/Surgical 6th Floor assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend schedule (open to every weekend candidate)
• Holiday rotation required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 during night shifts
• Float requirements throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients
• Required to wear black scrubs
• Must have neuro/ortho trauma experience
• Minimum 3+ years experience as RN required
• Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience and 1 travel assignment required
• Previous travel experience required - no candidates from within 50 miles of facility
• EPIC charting experience within last 2 years required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Must be hard worker, resilient, and manage change well
