RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts starting at 5:30 AM
• EVERY WEEKEND schedule (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Holiday rotation required
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Minimum 3 years RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience and 1 travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience within last 2 years required
• MUST HAVE NEURO/ORTHO TRAUMA EXPERIENCE
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Previous travel experience required - no local candidates within 50 miles
• Black scrubs required
• Patient ratio: 1:5 during day shift
• Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients
• Must be competent with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, and care of post-op neuro and ortho trauma surgeries
• Associate degree or certificate required
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
