RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Neurology

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation based on unit needs
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required
• ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience strongly preferred
• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred
• Must have previous travel experience
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Scrub colors: Black
• Care for neurology patients including stroke patients and post-operative patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries
• Manage trauma patients and traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases
• Work with 1:4 patient ratios in a 16-bed unit
• Work alongside 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift
• Must be within 50 miles of facility location
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
