RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM
• 8-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation required, must work 4th of July holiday
• Float requirements throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience required
• Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience and 1 travel assignment required
• Previous travel experience required - must be from location more than 50 miles from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years required
• Must have neuro/ortho trauma experience
• Black scrubs required
• Patient ratio 1:5 to 1:6 during night shifts
• Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients
• Must be competent with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, post-op neuro trauma surgeries, and post-op ortho trauma surgeries including fusions and back/spine procedures
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
