RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Neurology

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (13-week contract)
• Up to every other weekend schedule
• Holiday rotation required depending on unit needs
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift
• Must have 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required
• ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60 mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Must make up any missed shifts within 2 weeks of absence
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Black scrubs required
• Care for neurology patients including stroke patients and post-operative patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries
• Work with post-trauma patients and traumatic brain injury cases
• Experience in stroke care and post-op back/spine/cervical surgeries desired
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Previous travel experience required (no travelers within 50 miles of facility)
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays
