Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour weekend night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Up to 36 hours per week guaranteed (hours not guaranteed during orientation week or holidays when unit is closed)
• Contract length of 13 weeks
• Every weekend schedule required
• Five 8-hour orientation shifts required
• Call rotation required with float requirement
• Holiday requirement: One 24-hour call and one 12-hour holiday shift per contract
• Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty
• Weekend Option Employee (WOE) position with limited PTO - one weekend per quarter except for designated vacation periods
• Monthly staff meeting attendance required during 4th week of each month
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience with all service lines required
• Must be comfortable with emergency situations
• One successful travel assignment required
• Current EPIC charting experience within 6 months required
• Required experience in: General, Ortho, Joint, Urology, Endo, Trauma, and Robotic (DaVinci) procedures
• Must have specific experience with cataracts/retinas, vascular (thrombectomy), and C-sections
• Additional case types include: Bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT procedures
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, active NC or compact RN license
• Scrubs provided by hospital
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
