Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday rotation required
• Guaranteed hours up to 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation week or holidays when unit is closed)
• Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty
• No block scheduling and no RTO over 3 days
• Must float to MSO and Ortho units, potential to float to ICU to care for non-critical patients
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 (PCU with some acute tele mixed in)
• Care for patients in 37-bed step-down unit including cardiac, medical, neuro, and surgical stepdown patients
• Required licenses and certifications: Active NC or Compact state license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2+ years experience required, no new travelers, must have completed at least 1 travel contract
• Required skills: Telemetry, TR Bands, Blood Products, and Heparin/Cardiac drips
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Compliance documentation due 7 business days prior to start date
• Clinical interview services required
