Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call responsibilities
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract)
• 7 days per month on-call requirement with flexibility for additional days based on staffing needs
• Possible weekend call requirements
• Complete routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures including common and special ultrasound exams of moderate complexity
• Perform 2nd and 3rd trimester OB/GYN exams
• Conduct upper and lower DVT examinations
• Provide direct assistance to physicians with diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures
• Work independently while adhering to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines
• Use equipment: Philips Epic Elite and Philips Epic ultrasound machines
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs
• Associates of Applied Science degree required
• Graduate of CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program required
• Must be Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• 3+ years of experience required
• OB/GYN credentials preferred
• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required
• One of the following credentials required: ARRT-VS, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB/GYN, RDMS-RVT, RDMS-PS, RDMS-MSKS, or RDMS-BR
• Virtual orientation and in-person training required
