Cath Lab RN
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 40 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for cath lab patients, including cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular, stroke, structural heart, STEMI, and stroke cases
- Administer conscious sedation
- Complete nursing assessments
Schedule
- 4/10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call every 2–3 weekends and one night per week
Unit Details
- 7 cath labs
- 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during cases
Additional Notes
- Travelers within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Travelers living 60 to 80 miles away may be subject to a reduced local travel rate
- Interview times should be included with submission
- The manager will interview candidates directly before offering
- Badge in and out is required
- Scrub color is provided: ceil blue
- Prior employment with Sanford Health must be disclosed, and there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission if previously employed there
