Job Opportunity: RN Step Down

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Step Down unit with a focus on telemetry patients and recovery of surgical patients.
Must have at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and EPIC electronic health record system required.
Work schedule includes every 3rd weekend and an evening/overnight rotation with staff.
May be required to float onsite within skill set or to other nearby sites within 40 miles as needed.
Prior travel experience is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Step Down nursing experience, with Step Down experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Driver's License
Telemetry experience
Med/Surg nursing experience
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
