Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Kingman, Arizona

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Arizona
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (N)
• NMTCB-NCT
• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Preferred Qualifications

• Education from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program via ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist via NMTCB

Experience / Skills

• Ability to perform PET procedures
• Ability to perform venipuncture and maintain IV patency
• Ability to administer radioactive materials and contrast agents
• Ability to evaluate lab values before administering contrast media or radioactive isotopes
• Ability to document patient and exam occurrences in PACS/RIS
• Ability to perform daily quality assurance checks
• Ability to follow National Patient Safety Goals and CDC hand hygiene guidelines

Additional Job Details

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation
• Local candidates are not accepted; 50-mile radius restriction applies
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
