Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Location

Watertown, New York

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
Weekend, holiday, and call required
7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New York
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Experience in Charge roles
One completed travel assignment

Preferred Qualifications

Current critical care experience
PALS

Key Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs
Recognize safety issues and use lifts or move patients safely
Function well in stressful situations
Use strong problem-solving, leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
May be required to serve as charge nurse
Communicate effectively in interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal formats
