Role Overview

• Interpret the plan of medical care and provide individualized nursing care
• Assess patients and support nursing clinical decision-making
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
• Record medical information, vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Oncology experience within the last year
• 1 year of oncology experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Resume including the past 7 years of work experience, with city and state listed for all work experience and education
• 2 references within the last 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
• Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Nurse aide registry check
• Medication exam with a passing score of 80%
• Spaulding orientation summary
• MMR documentation or proof of immunity
• TB test documentation
• Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
• Criminal background check
• Massachusetts CORI check
• Education verification
• SSN trace
• National sex offender check
• Exclusion checks
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form
• Fit test and respirator medical clearance attestation, if required for the skill
