Radiation Oncology RN
Location
- Minocqua, Wisconsin
Schedule
- Days
- Monday through Friday, roughly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
Assignment Details
- Ambulatory/outpatient setting
- No weekend, holiday, call, standby, or floating requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 2 years of oncology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Radiation Oncology Nurse certification preferred, but not required
Patient Population
- Prostate cancer
- Head and neck cancers
- Breast cancer
- Metastatic disease
- Lung cancer
- Brain
- Skin
- Lymphoma
- Mesothelioma
Additional Notes
- Set-rate IV hydration
- Helpful to assess radiation side effects and provide patient education
- Any-color scrubs with solid-color pants
- Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced rate
