Job Overview

• Full-time medical technologist / MLT opening in a small critical access hospital laboratory
• Generalist role

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ASCP or AMT certification
• At least 3 years of experience
• Must be able to work in chemistry, hematology with differentials, urinalysis microscopics, and phlebotomy
• Must have critical thinking, troubleshooting, self-motivation, and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Travel experience is preferred

• Some microbiology
• Blood bank for longer assignments

Schedule

• 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage may be needed

Orientation

• 2 weeks of general orientation and training with lab staff

Housing

• Housing leads available; candidate should confirm housing options in the area before submission

Dress Code

• Any scrub color
• Lab coats provided
