RN Emergency Room
Overview
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Employment type: LTA
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Every other weekend or based on department needs
- Every other holiday, rotating with regular staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 2 or more completed travel assignments
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- MAB
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience caring for critical care patients
- Experience caring for psychiatric patient populations
- Experience caring for pediatric patient populations
- EPIC electronic health record proficiency
Clinical Experience
- Experience caring for critical care patients
- Ability to care for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Strong team collaboration and timely communication
- Ability to escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety
Additional Notes
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
