Day CT/XRay Tech

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
  • Location: Calais, Maine
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5-8 hour days with shared call rotation

Required Qualifications

  • Radiology Technologist experience
  • Valid CT Technologist license in Maine
  • CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT
  • BLS

Clinical Skills / Experience

  • Proficiency in routine diagnostic X-ray
  • CT imaging
  • Trauma imaging
  • IV contrast administration
  • Mobile/portable bedside imaging

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide X-ray coverage in the OR as needed
  • Participate in call coverage, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Support OR and overall department staffing needs

Preferred

  • ARRT (CT)
  • Familiarity and experience with Siemens CT equipment
