Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule
- Day shift
- 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- 7 call shifts over a 6-week period
- 3 weekend shifts and 4 weekday shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures
- Prepare the operating room for patients and surgical procedures
- Assemble equipment and supplies and confirm they are functional and available
- Coordinate with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative care
- Serve as a communication liaison for patients, families, and the operating team
- Follow aseptic techniques and department admission procedures
