Overview

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Setting: Level 1 trauma campus

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIH Certification
• MOAB Moderate Risk
• Cerner
• Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance

• Signed assignment agreement
• NIH certification
• MOAB Moderate Risk training
• EKG exam with passing score of at least 80%
• Cerner test-out completion
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Education verification within 90 days of start
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Criminal background check
• EPLS check
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Fit test
• Health statement or completed physical exam
• MMR documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Tdap documentation
• Color vision screening
• Core competencies completion
• Nursing contingent worker onboarding
• Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules
• Badge photo
• Assignment confirmation on agency letterhead

Notes

• Influenza vaccine is optional; declinations are accepted, but a mask is required at all times if declined
• Positive TB documentation may be accepted with a chest X-ray and annual questionnaire
• No declinations are accepted for MMR, Varicella, or Tdap requirements
