Description
Sleep Technologist
Overview
- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Weekly hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification via BRPT
- North Dakota Respiratory Care license
- Registered Sleep Technologist credential
- CPR
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the sleep disorders field preferred
Job Duties
- Perform sleep studies and administer treatments for patients with sleep disorders, including CPAP, oxygen, and bilevel therapy
Work Environment
- 4 sleep beds
- 1 technologist per 2 patients
Additional Notes
- Must be noted in submission if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health; if previously employed there, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission
- Does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Gray scrubs required
- No weekends or holidays
