Job Overview

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
• Schedule: Nights, every other weekend
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Role Details

• Medical telemetry unit with 41 beds
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Floating is required when needed
• Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI
• Nurse-to-patient ratio:

  • Days: 1:4/5
  • Evenings and nights: 1:5/6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen

Schedule Notes

• Day shifts rotate between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, and 7p-7a
• Night positions are straight nights
