Description
PCU RN for ER Holding Area
Location
- Savannah, Georgia
Schedule
- 3x12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
Assignment Length
- 13–14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience, or 1 year of recent PCU experience plus 1+ years of TELE/ER/ICU experience
- At least 1 previous travel assignment completed
- No license hits; a current NURSYS report must be included at submission
Role Details
- Provides care for patients being boarded in the ER
- Telemetry experience required
- Must be able to titrate drips
- Typical patient population includes Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, and heart failure cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1
Submission Requirements
- Full availability, including all requested time off
- Start date aligned with compliance timelines
- Current references from the same specialty/modality
- Resume must include:
- Number of beds and trauma level for all facilities worked in the past 3 years
- Employment type for each role
- Number of shifts worked per month if PRN
Onboarding
- Orientation is weekly
- Monday starts only, except Tuesday starts when Monday is a holiday
- Onboarding must be completed at least 7 calendar days before the start date
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Quick starts require approval before placement
