RN - Operating Room
Location
- Louisville, Kentucky
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Call: 7p–11p once a week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Spine experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
Education
- Nursing diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN)
Job Summary
- Provides direct nursing care for a group of patients
- Assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care
- Coordinates patient and family education and discharge education
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Mentors/precepts staff and participates in quality and safety improvement efforts
