Description
RN - Operating Room (Pediatrics)
Location
- Louisville, Kentucky
Schedule
- Day shift
- 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Shift time: 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
- Works Fridays
- Call required every 5th weekend, with weekday call from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- 2 years of Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Role Overview
- Provides and coordinates patient care for a group of patients
- Performs assessments, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient response
- Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provides patient and family education
- Delegates tasks and supports teamwork, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
