Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Days
- 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Setting
- Cardiac cath lab
- 6 suites/labs
- Average daily volume: 4–20 cases
- Separate from IR and EP
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule and Call
- 4–9 hour shifts
- 6–8 call shifts per month
- Weekend call every 6–7 weeks
- Additional backup weekend shifts about once per month
- Holiday call includes Easter backup call
Other Important Details
- Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Drug screen required
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- 2–3 shifts of unit-specific orientation
- Scrubs provided
