Location

• Kingman, Arizona

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Arizona, in good standing
• BLS through American Heart Association
• ACLS through American Heart Association
• Competent in both adult and pediatric care
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience educating patients with chronic lung conditions

Preferences

• NRP
• PALS through American Heart Association

Role Highlights

• Provides respiratory care based on physician orders and patient condition
• Works with medical gas and humidity therapy, airway management, blood gas analysis, and mechanical ventilation
• Supports routine care for non-critical patients and assists with invasive and non-invasive adult mechanical ventilation
• May work independently in adult critical care units and the Emergency Room after completing competencies
• Must complete orientation to general and critical care respiratory care

Schedule Details

• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirement
• Some weekends

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted; 50-mile radius restriction applies
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation
• Uses ventilators, BiPAPs, Metaneb, Airvo, and charting systems during orientation and training
