• 1st shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care on the unit, including rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination.
• Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to support patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Experience in progressive care unit nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Performs and documents comprehensive patient assessments
• Develops and prioritizes patient care plans
• Implements nursing interventions and therapies within scope of practice
• Communicates changes in patient condition and responds appropriately
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks
• Supports discharge planning and teaching
• Participates in quality improvement activities and unit-based initiatives
