Registered Nurse — Travel/Contract
Overview
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day/Night, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: Every other weekend rotation; holidays as needed
- Hours: 36 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience starting intravenous (IV) lines
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Patient Population / Unit Details
- Adult medical-surgical patients under the Family Medicine service
- Geriatric population
- May care for 0–10 Department of Corrections patients at a time
- Locked wing used for Department of Corrections patients
- Staff are accompanied by a Department of Corrections officer when assisting these patients
