Description

RN Telemetry Float Pool

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: LTA
Schedule: Days/eves/nights; rotating schedule with every other weekend
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Parking: Free on-site parking

Role Summary

Float pool telemetry RN covering multiple med/surg telemetry areas and other hospital units
Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
Must be willing to float to 8 different units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in an acute care setting
Telemetry experience: 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
2 years of experience working as a traveler
2 years or more of total travel experience

Additional Notes

Days/eves rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract
Patient care may include ED border patients, acute mental health unit patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
