Description

RN Telemetry Float Pool

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 11:00 - 23:30
Schedule: Evenings and every other weekend
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Float pool telemetry RN covering multiple med/surg telemetry areas across the hospital
Must be willing to float to 8 different units
Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
Free on-site parking

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
2 years of experience working as a Traveler
2 years or more of total travel experience
Float experience within the last year
Float experience

Additional Assignment Details

Days and evenings rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract
Patient ratios: up to 5:1 on days/eves and up to 6:1 on nights
