Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Previous travel experience
- Prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit
- Experience titrating drips
- Heparin drip experience
Assignment Details
- Local placements accepted within 50 miles
- Float in rotation with the rest of the staff
- No call or standby requirement
- House-wide telemetry; nurses do not need to read strips
- Charge nurse and house supervisor available 24/7
- Patient ratios: days 1:4-5, nights 1:5-6
- Nurse aide/patient care tech support is available
- 2 days of orientation
