Registered Nurse

Contract

13 weeks
12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Active RN license; non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if the permanent license is not posted before the assignment start
BLS
ACLS
2 years of medical-surgical experience preferred

Unit Details

Med-surg float pool covering general medicine, cardiology, all med-surg units, ED boarding, post-surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, behavioral health, and medical oncology
Must be competent with chest tubes, central lines, and heparin drips
Telemetry is monitored centrally; reading strips is not required

Schedule Requirements

Weekends required
Must work some holidays, including 2 of 3 winter holidays
No block scheduling
May be placed on standby and called in during the shift

Additional Notes

Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first week
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
