Med Surg/Tele RN

Job Overview

Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
At least 2 years of experience in the specialty

Preferred Qualifications

PALS

Clinical Details

Med-surg unit with telemetry capability on all beds
Heavy telemetry workload
Adult patients; travelers do not take pediatric patients
Strong neuro and cardiac skills needed
Float to all med-surg units and ICU for med-surg overflow patients

Unit / Work Environment

24-bed unit
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 pediatrics, depending on acuity
Support staff includes telemetry techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs
Hospitalist in house 24/7
No IV team
Respiratory therapist 24/7
Pharmacy 24/7

Additional Notes

Scrubs are not provided
Any scrub color is allowed except all black
