RN - Intermediate Care Night Shift
Location
- Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type

Shift
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Intermediate care unit with a mix of medical telemetry and step-down patients
- 42 beds total
- Nurses work on both sides of the floor: medical telemetry and intermediate care
- Floating to other units can occur
Patient Population / Common Cases
- PNA
- COPD exacerbation
- DKA
- HHS
- ETOH withdrawal
- GIB
- Sepsis
- PE
- UTI
- Respiratory failure
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- ACLS
- BLS
- Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry
Staffing / Agency Requirements
- Agency must be outside a 90-mile radius from the facility
- Agency must provide Massachusetts staffing license documentation before offer
- Massachusetts Placement Agency License
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License
- Agency insurance upload required to MYCOI
- Agency must sign the AMN agreement upon offer
