Description

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location

  • Syracuse, New York

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday per department rotation
  • No call required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS
  • Must live at least 75 miles away from the assignment location

  • Specialty exam completed within 1 year
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
  • Resume
  • 2 professional references
  • Employment verification from the last 7 years
  • Criminal background check
  • Education verification

  • NSO screening
  • EPLS screening
  • System access form completed 1 week before start
  • Code of conduct form
  • I-9

  • 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Fit test
  • Physical/health statement within the last year
  • TB screening

  • COVID-19 vaccine documentation, declination, or exemption as allowed
