Schedule

• Night shift
• 36 hours per week
• 5:00 pm to 5:30 am
• Weekends, holidays, and shift rotations may be required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Idaho
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Prior Medical-Surgical experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
• Document care in electronic health records
• Support post-operative recovery, chronic illness management, and acute care interventions
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Delegate and oversee tasks assigned to nursing assistants, ESTs, and unit clerks
• Mentor new staff
