Labor & Delivery RN

Location

• Marshfield, Wisconsin

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• NRP
• RN license
• Must be able to titrate drips

Unit Details

• Labor & Delivery unit with 7 beds
• 2 OR suites for C-sections
• 17 postpartum beds
• High-risk obstetric population
• Uses AWHONN ratios
• OB provider is in house 24/7
• Anesthesia is in house 24/7
• No tele/monitor techs on the unit
• OB tech support is typically available
• EFM system is Corometric EFM

Responsibilities

• Float to MBU/Antepartum
• May float to NICU if trained and comfortable
• Provide patient sitter coverage as needed
• Admit, prep, and recover patients in the L&D area
• Recover both mother and baby

Schedule

• Every 3rd weekend
• Holidays as needed
• No call or standby requirement

Orientation

• 3 days total: 1 hospital-specific day and 2 unit-specific days

Additional Notes

• Hospital scrubs are provided for the unit
• Candidates who have ever worked for this facility must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles are subject to a reduced rate
