Radiology Tech/X-Ray Tech

Job Overview

Location: Warren, Michigan
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7p–7a, every other weekend
Hours: 36 per week
On call: No

Required Qualifications

CT Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of experience in radiology or medical imaging
ARRT (R)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Radiology Technologist experience

Role Summary

Performs computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision
May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations
Responsibilities include patient preparation, clinical data review, anatomical analysis, equipment setup, radiation protection, intravenous contrast media administration, infection control practices, PACS image management, RIS use, clinical protocol review, medical record documentation, teamwork, customer service, flexibility, initiative, willingness to learn, and respect for diversity
