Description

Float Pool Med/Surg Tele RN

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Specialty: RN Telemetry I
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: Nights and every other weekend
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Key responsibilities

Float between 8 units across the hospital
Provide telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
Perform cardiac drip management and read telemetry strips
Care for ED border patients, medication patients in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years or more of total travel experience
2 years of experience working as a Traveler
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Additional notes

Free on-site parking
Days/evenings rotate to nights 1 to 3 times per contract
