Location

• Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule
• Holiday rotation required

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Active RN license
• Strong ortho experience
• Total joint replacement experience

Unit Details

• Ortho/Telemetry unit
• 22 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Charge nurse available 24/7
• CNA support: 3 CNAs per shift, ratio 1:7-8
• Respiratory equipment available as needed

Responsibilities / Clinical Notes

• RN does not need to read telemetry strips
• RN is not required to titrate drips

Floating

• May float to 7E, 7W, 10W, or 10E

Orientation

• 1-2 shifts on the unit

Submission Requirements

• Submit to only one position at a time across the WVU system
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Include an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license
• Previous permanent employees must have been gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who worked there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
• Up to 2 candidates may be submitted per opening

Health Requirement

• COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption process available
