2A - Admissions - Med Surg RN
Overview
- 13-week contract in Fargo, North Dakota.
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts.
- 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- RN license.
- 2+ years of medical/surgical experience.
- Level I trauma center experience.
- BLS (AHA).
- EPIC experience.
- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- 15-bed unit with all private rooms.
- General Medical/Surgical admissions unit for patients discharged from the ER who have not yet been assigned to a specific unit.
- Performs initial admissions and cares for patients until they transfer to their new unit.
- Floats to other medical/surgical units as needed.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday.
- No call.
Additional Information
- Cannot take travelers living within 60 miles of the facility.
- Local travel rate applies for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility.
- Dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs.
