RN Circulator - Operating room

Overview

Location: Cedar Park, Texas
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 06:30 - 15:00
Contract length: 13 weeks
On-call obligation is required

Role Summary

Experienced RN Circulator needed to support the surgical team
Responsible for coordinating patient care throughout the surgical process, preparing the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies, verifying patient identity and procedure, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, monitoring the patient during surgery, documenting care, and advocating for patient safety

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
3 years of Operating Room experience
Operating Room experience within the last year
Experience in a Procedural Area setting
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
License/certificate verification within 30 days prior to start
Resume/profile
At least 2 professional references
Ascension Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of start and updated annually for the specialty

Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
