RN Emergency Room
Overview
- 13-week assignment
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend or based on department needs
- Every other holiday rotation with regular staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 2 or more completed travel assignments
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience caring for critical care patients
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- MOAB
Required Certifications
- BLS, AHA
- ACLS, AHA
- PALS, AHA
- TNCC
- NIH Certification
Onboarding / Compliance
- Resume/profile and at least 2 professional references required for submission
- Signed assignment agreement required before onboarding
- Specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, skills checklist, and Epic test-out required during onboarding
- Color vision screening required
- MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, Tdap, TB screening, fit test, health statement, and 12-panel drug screen required
- Criminal background check, EPLS, employment verification, education verification, and badge photo required
- Nursing contract worker onboarding and education attestation required
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
