Description

ICU RN

Overview

13-week travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana
36 hours per week
3pm–3am shifts, three shifts per week
Unit has 12 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2, 1:3

Required Qualifications

Current Indiana or compact RN license
BLS
ACLS
At least 2 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of ICU experience
Comfortable with vent management, vasoactive gtts, and psychiatric patients

Preferred / Additional Details

Floating is limited to Critical Care only
Unit equipment includes ventilators, Bipap, and EV 100s
EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration are used in the unit
Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
Orientation includes 7 mandatory days, with 2 days of training on the floor after jumpstart orientation
